Six faith-sharing sessions guide the participants on a quest:
can God be found at work? If so, how?
Finding God@Work encourages readers to consider their experience of work, both positively and negatively. These realities are then set in counterpoint to relevant passages from Scripture, and to principles of Catholic social teaching.
The book offers six sessions:
Session 1: Spirituality of work; an oxymoron?
Session 2: Work: a burden to be borne or a share in God's creative power?
Session 3: Dealing with others at work
Session 4: Balancing work, personal, family, church, and community responsibilities
Session 5: Deciding right and wrong at work
Session 6: Working to make the system workGregory F. Augustine Pierce is the President of ACTA Publications, and is the author of Spirituality@Work: 10 Ways to Balance Your Life on the Job (Loyola Press), which received two awards from the Catholic Press Association.
